What is Diolaze XL?

DiolazeXL is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. Diolaze has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, making treatments convenient and fast. The combination of efficacy, patient comfort and speed makes Diolaze the leader in laser hair removal.

How does Diolaze XL work? During laser treatment, a diode laser beam passes through the skin towards hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.

Does it hurt?

Diolaze has a built in skin cooling surface which is one of the largest for all hair removal devices. This makes treatment more comfortable than other devices, with most patients noting that Diolaze is virtually painless.

Why do I need multiple treatments to achieve hair removal?

As with all laser hair removal methods, Diolaze requires a series of treatments. Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage, however, at any given time, your hair is in various stages of growth.

How many sessions are required? Generally, clients need about six to eight laser treatments in order to completely get rid of hair. You can expect to see about a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after your first treatment. As you continue your treatments, more and more hair will fall out, and you'll notice that it continues to grow back more slowly.

Which areas of the body can be treated?

Diolaze can be safely used on most areas of the body that have unwanted hair. Most commonly treated areas include: bikini, legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin and sideburns.

Information to keep in mind when booking:

• We recommend an average of 6-8 sessions. However, the amount of sessions recommended is only a recommendation, depending on your skins reaction, hair texture(coarse or other), any other factors that may occur, you can require more sessions. If more sessions are required outside of the quoted amount, you would be responsible for the cost of those sessions. **Please note: darker skin tones always require more than the average amount of sessions

• Settings: We have manufacturer settings for each patient we treat, these settings ensure we reach hair free results. If you find the settings too uncomfortable, and request to have them lowered, this will increase the amount of sessions necessary to get you hair free.

• I understand that during the course of the procedure unforeseen conditions may require a change in treatment plan than originally recommended and I authorize KW Beauty or assistants to perform such other procedures if they find them professionally desired, upon education. I.e heat hives may require lowered settings, which will require more treatments. Pain, if you find the treatment uncomfortable and request to have settings lowered, it will require more treatments to achieve hair free results. If your hair is more stubborn than anticipated, you will require more treatments. Each patient will be completely different in their requirements, there we cannot recommend an exact number of treatments required.

What areas can be treated?

Forma can be used face and neck. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crows feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck.

Will it hurt?

Forma is an essentially painless procedure with no downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-procedure, which subsides within a few hours.

How many sessions are required?

It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals with mild laxity may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical pre-evaluation.

Can this treatment be combined with other treatments?

Yes, Forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler. Please speak to your aesthetic provider when considering combining Forma with other treatments.
