AlumierMD MEDICAL GRADE CLINICAL PEELS
Here at KW Beauty we offer two types of Peels currently. We offer a Glow Peel as well as a Acne Targeted Peel.
Our AlumierMD Glow peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a clinical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that is revealed after a Glow peel is smoother and younger looking. Glow peels are used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, skin discoloration and mild scars — typically on the face. This peel will also improve the skin's color, clarity, tone and texture. This peel is specific for over all facial rejuvenation.
Our AlumierMD Acne Targeted Clinical Peel is intended for dry, oily or acne prone skin, it exfoliates dead skin cells on the surface and within the pores. It will help reduce moderate acne scaring, pimples, minimizes fine lines, wrinkles, pores and corrects discolouration, improves the skin's color, clarity, tone and texture. It also contains soothing properties to help inflamed irritated skin.
We custom every Clinical Peel with a serum specific to your skin and skin needs.
Each peel comes with a soothing aftercare kit to protect your skin and a little something to use once your skin is all healed. We proudly use AlumierMD as our products for Peels and aftercare. This brand is the only medical grade brand offered only by Healthcare Professionals. It offers the highest quality on the market for peels, skincare products and service aftercare products.
After Glow Peels:
Peeling of the skin will generally start 48-72 hours after your treatment and can last 2-5 days. It is very important not to pick off peeling skin; peeling is minimal and easily controlled with moisturizer. Premature peeling of the skin(if you peel it) will result in dry, cracked, raw skin that may develop into hyperpigmentation. It is really important to wear sunscreen of at least 30+ spf during this time to ensure the newly revealed skin does not burn or become more damaged. This will be included in your aftercare kit.
When to get a Glow Peel:
It is advised to get a Clinical Peels every four to six weeks.
